The Makkan Minority

In light of the current situation the Muslim ʾUmmah is facing in the West, it is evident that there is a pressing need for a better understanding of how the Muslims should live as a minority in a non-Muslim society. Imam ʼAnwar Al-ʿAwlakī sheds light upon the Qurān, Ḥadīth and the sīrah (particularly the first 13 years in Makkah) and presents lessons to the da’iee’ in order to strengthen his or her methods of conveying the message of Islam to the West.
